Hello and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Mycah Brandly and I’m an artist and graphic designer. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX, then moved to Portland, OR 7 years ago with the willingness and eagerness to further my education. I recently completed my associates degree of applied science in graphic design.

After 28 years of artistic experience, 5 years of graphic design experience, I’m elated to begin my creative journey in the professional world. Art and design is my passion and my work ethic shows it. I have astounding attention to detail and I pride myself in the originality of my work. I’m a very meticulous, hard working master multitasker. I’m quite the efficient learner, and stoked to grow professionally with a company.

While I work well alone and able to effectively generate creative ideas, I’m great with working with others and can fabricate creative ideas off fellow teammates. I take pride and joy in anything within the design world, which is why I constantly look for ways to expand my understanding of the creative realm. As passionate as I am for art and design, it is shared with my love for connecting to people. Finding ways to connect dots to the world around me is very important. It provides me with a fresh take on the multitude of cultures and identities that could be implemented into my work to communicate and possibly bring people together. Through this I can push the boundaries of design through inclusiveness and understanding. Everything is that much better, with a little bit of culture in it.

I have 13 years in sales and customer service which assisted me in obtaining great comfortability in networking, connecting and communicating with clients and potential clientele. Communication is key and I possess great written and verbal communication skills. Amongst my graphic design skills, I also have been a manager, freelance photographer, and videographer for the past 5 years. In addition, I’ve also worked in branding, marketing, and e-commerce. I’m confident in my work and abilities to become a valuable team member once given the opportunity. My drive for success make me an excellent candidate to be molded into the perfect team member.
